Solo Show Concept: Circle Series

In Februrary 2025 I debuted the Circle Series as part of my solo show Escape Lands at Astoria Art Center. The Circle Series leans into textured negative spaces and their interplay with color and shape (i.e. the circle) to create meditative atmosphere, and encourage the viewer to contemplate the beauty in what lies beyond our comprehension. The series is heavily inspired by my most beloved art space, The Rothko Chapel.

The Circle Series is constantly under development and usually includes 7-10 works depending on what is available.
